GPR Concrete Scanning

Ground penetrating radar that reveals what's inside a slab, so you can assess, design, and cut with confidence.

From the surface, it can be extremely difficult to determine the actual thickness and reinforcement of a slab prior to construction or testing. With the amount of detail available from our concrete scanners, we can make these evaluations on strategic areas of the slab to determine if components meet your standards before construction or design begins.

Slab Assessment

Determine if components meet your standards prior to beginning construction or design. Our scanners deliver the detail needed to evaluate slab thickness and reinforcement on strategic areas before you commit.

Design & Planning

When overlaying your new designs on an existing slab, the locations of future concrete penetrations can be critical. Conflicts between existing in-slab infrastructure and new designs can result in costly change orders if not identified early in the design and planning stage. We specialize in identifying in-slab and below-slab utilities and reinforcements in order to update existing plans and designs.

Coring & Cutting

Concrete cutting or coring always comes with the risk of damaging infrastructure hidden below the surface. Our field technicians use GPR and a variety of other methods to reduce or eliminate this risk by quickly and accurately identifying the horizontal and vertical positions of objects such as post-tension cables, rebar, conduits, pipes, and grade beams.

What We Locate

  • Slab thickness and reinforcement
  • Post-tension cables
  • Rebar and wire mesh
  • Conduits and pipes
  • Grade beams
  • In-slab and below-slab utilities
